Challenge was to combine saffron, burgundy & hunter.
Image was stamped on watercolor paper then clear embossed.
I watercolored the image with burgundy, moss, hunter, saffron ink pads & blender pen. Took image panel and scored it with the scor pal (which said to me "water color paper's a bit thick, dontcha think?). I sponged saffron all over the middle to tone the white down then Tim Holtz tea dye around the edges.
Added burgundy grossgrain knotted in one corner and bow in the opposite. Added a burgundy CB'd corner punch. Matted onto hunter.
Sentiment is Hero Arts stamped in hunter, sponged with the tea dye, matted on burgundy. Image and sentiment were bumped up on dimensionals.
Base is burgundy. BG is actually saffron stamped with Petite patterns' leaf all over then sponged the edges with hunter.
Thanks so much for looking!

This is a beautiful card. I have this stamp set..........guess I'll have to dig it out and give this a try. I love the colors and the layout. I also like the way you tied the ribbon on the top of the card.........very different. TFS this beauty with us.

This is really beautiful!! I love how you did the grid pattern, it looks like it stops perfectly around the beautiful main image. Awesome work, Collette!
